*Complete the 6 hour Broker Responsibility Course as part of your 18 hours of CE if you:
- have sponsored one or more sales agents;
- served as the designated broker for a business entity broker that sponsors sales agents; or

Your real estate license must be renewed every two years if you are a real estate sales agent or broker. Certain continuing education courses are required as part of the renewal process and others are electives at the agent's discretion.
If you are an active salesperson or broker, we offer everything you need to complete your 18 hours of required education for every 2-year renewal period, including the required TREC Legal Update I and II Courses, plenty of elective courses to meet your 10-hour elective requirement and contract-related coursework to complete the mandatory 3-hour requirement.

This course will explain what constitutes a Comparative Market Analysis (CMA). Course will provide agents information that can be used in property evaluation scenarios and to better assist clients whether buying or selling. It will cover what determines an appropriate comparable between properties, how to make adjustments, where to get information on adjustments, address differences between a CMA versus an appraisal.

This class meets the 3 hour TREC contracts requirement for your license renewal.
Leasing is more complicated than sales. This is the reason that the TAR Residential Lease is twice the length of the TREC 1-4 Family sales contract. Texas Realtors® has developed an excellent lease and related forms over the years. This course covers these lease forms in detail.
Contracts: Broker Side is designed to examine the contracts, addenda, notices and other forms that are essential to the operation of a brokerage firm in Texas. Although it is a 4-hour course it will fulfill the 3 hour contracts requirement that is mandated for the renewal of a real estate license. We begin with a quick overview of a broker’s responsibilities under TREC rules, Section 535.2, followed by a discussion of Independent Contractor vs Employee statuses, and the requirement for a Policy and Procedures manual.

This three-hour class focuses on the Residential Real Estate Listing Agreement, Exclusive Right to Sell. It will cover what goes in the blanks, what the seller’s responsibilities are, what the broker’s responsibilities are. The Seller’s Disclosure Notice, other notices, and forms that are commonly used in a listing will also be discussed. At the conclusion of class students should have a clear understanding of listing documents to better serve their clients.
This class meets the 3 hour TREC contracts requirement for your license renewal. We will review the TREC promulgated 1 to 4 Family contract, paragraph by paragraph, and sentence by sentence to examine the issues and common misunderstandings associated with the form. You will learn aspects of the contract that most agents on the street are not familiar with. Learn what the professionals know and use to their advantage.
In this course we will examine the TREC promulgated and approved addenda as well as various other forms issued by the Commission. In all, there are more than 30 such forms. The objective of this course is for attendees to gain an understanding of the differences between a Municipal Utility District (MUD), Planned Unit Development (PUD) and Public Improvement District (PID). Further objectives are for attendees to: understand how to find if a property is located in a special district; find the contact information for obtaining notice to provide to potential buyers of property located within a district; understand how each type of special district is funded by property owners; and distinguish what types of services each type of district provides.

The course objectives are for students to: 1) describe the criterion Central Appraisal Districts use when determining if land qualifies for agricultural use; 2) summarize how rollback taxes are estimated; 3) calculate an estimate of rollback taxes; and 4) identify sources of support for agricultural production and tax questions. The subject matter is relevant for real estate license holders in the State of Texas as 75.98% of the land in Texas is involved with production agriculture.
