Marquis C. Williams is an accomplished commercial real estate professional with a deep understanding of public policy and extensive leadership experience in both the real estate and political sectors. Holding a Master’s degree in Public Policy, Marquis brings a unique perspective to his work, combining industry expertise with a strong foundation in government affairs. His career includes a notable tenure serving in Washington, D.C., as an intern for a U.S. Senator, where he gained valuable experience in legislative processes and policy development.
Marquis is a highly engaged leader in the real estate community, serving in multiple leadership roles within the San Antonio Board of REALTORS® (SABOR). Currently, he serves on SABOR’s Board of Directors as the 2025-2026 Chair-elect. His contributions span several key committees, including TREPAC (Texas Real Estate Political Action Committee), Governmental Affairs, and Budget & Finance, among others.
Over the years, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to advocating for the interests of the real estate community, earning recognition for his active involvement in SABOR and Texas REALTORS® leadership.
Marquis’ leadership extends beyond his board positions; he has held various prominent roles such as Secretary/Treasurer of Texas REALTORS®, and served as a Texas REALTOR®
Regional Vice President. His work in TREPAC and TRIP (Texas REALTORS Issues Political Action Committee), especially as a Trustee, highlights his dedication to supporting political advocacy for the real estate sector at both the state and national levels.
He is a sought-after expert in the real estate field, often featured in the media. Marquis has appeared on KENS Television’s “Great Day SA”, discussing topics such as multi-offer deals and the unique needs of military buyers. He has also contributed to discussions on housing policy and community development, including panels like “Break the Cycle: Saving Our Communities” and Bexar County Real Estate and Homeownership on Texas Public Radio. His public speaking engagements reflect his passion for advancing homeownership and addressing issues like gentrification and generational wealth.
