Important Leadership Update: Advancing SABOR & MLS with Strategic Vision
The SABOR Board of Directors is pleased to share an important leadership update as part of our continued efforts to align our organization and MLS for long-term growth, clarity and service to our members.
As part of our strategic plan to modernize governance, we have officially established a SABOR MLS Board of Managers. This dedicated leadership group will help guide the MLS with focused attention on innovation, responsiveness and operational excellence.
To support this new structure, Reagan Williamson, who has served as 2025 Chair of the SABOR Board, has stepped down to join the MLS Board. We thank Reagan for his continued commitment to our members and his leadership in shaping the future of MLS operations.
In accordance with our bylaws, the Board has appointed a new Chair to serve the remainder of the 2025 term—and to continue into 2026—ensuring leadership continuity and strategic alignment.
A Message from Ed Zapata, Chair of the SABOR Board
Dear Members,
I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support and commitment to our organization. As voted on at last week’s Board meeting, I will be serving as Chair for the remainder of 2025. I’m honored to step into this role and look forward to working alongside you with the same focus and energy you bring to the table.
In alignment with our bylaws, my service for the remainder of this year will not count toward term limits. As such, I will also continue to serve as Chair through 2026. This allows us to maintain leadership continuity and stay focused on the strategic work ahead.
