SABOR is excited to announce the launch of Phase II of our Calendar of Events integration, making it easier than ever for members to stay informed about upcoming classes, meetings, and office closures. With this update, you can now sync SABOR’s calendar directly to your personal calendar, ensuring you never miss an important event.

Whether you’re using Outlook, Google Calendar, or your smartphone, these simple steps will help you stay connected and organized.

Why Sync?
By syncing your calendar, you’ll have:

• Real-time access to updated SABOR classes, meetings, and office closures.
• The ability to color-code and manage events for easier visibility.
• No more need to visit the SABOR website to check schedules.
• One-click setup with automatic updates

Step-by-Step: How to Sync SABOR’s Calendar

1. Visit the SABOR Calendar
Go to the SABOR Calendar on our website. At the top of the calendar, you’ll see three buttons:
Subscribe Meetings, Subscribe Closings, and Classes.
Click on any category you’d like to sync—for example, Classes.

A calendar file (typically .ics) will automatically download to your device.

2. Add to Outlook or Desktop Calendar
Click the downloaded file.
Your default calendar application (e.g., Outlook) will open automatically.
Select the calendar category you’d like to apply it to (e.g., SABOR Classes).
Events will now appear in your calendar.

You can customize categories with colors or labels and remove them anytime.

3. Import into Google Calendar
If your calendar is web-based (like Google Calendar), follow these steps:
Go to Settings in Google Calendar.
Find the Import (or sometimes called Subscribe) tab.
Upload the previously downloaded .ics file.
Choose which calendar you’d like to import the information into.

The events will now appear and automatically update in your Google Calendar.

4. Sync on Your Smartphone
For the simplest experience:
Open the calendar link from your phone.
Click on the desired category (e.g., Classes or Meetings).
Your phone’s calendar will prompt you to Add all events.
That’s it! You’ll now see SABOR events directly on your mobile device.

Important Notes
Currently, syncing will include all classes, not just those you’ve registered for.
You can always unsubscribe or remove a calendar category from your personal calendar at any time.
